A stunning sunrise experience
Woke up to watch the sunrise, the view was simply breathtaking. The staff allowed an early check-in, which was beyond appreciated. Definitely a memorable stay!
The overall stay would have been better if I had access to the fitness room, which is an extra charge. It was unexpected for a hotel of this caliber.

We visited the nearby convention center and stadium, both just a short walk away. The location is super convenient, right by the bus stop and metro. The breakfast buffet was awesome too! You can't go wrong with this place for a group trip.
The only downside was that our room felt a bit dated and could use some updates. It wasn't a big deal for our short stay, but just something to consider.

great city view, convenient covered access, fantastic tower library
Temperature control in the room could use improvement!!! The leisure spa's closure was a disappointment!!! Also, a free gym would really upgrade the hospitality experience here!!!

We enjoyed stunning views from our room on the 21st floor. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection, with delicious options from both Asian and Western styles, making mornings a treat for our family of four.
In my wife’s opinion, more family-friendly activities would improve the experience.

The location was fantastic, just a short stroll from the Kokura Shinkansen station with a convenient covered walkway. The staff was incredibly friendly and spoke great English, making us feel welcome. Our room was spacious with a breathtaking view of Kitakyushu, and the breakfast buffet had a wonderful variety of options.
Parking fees were a bit high at 1500 yen per night.

Spacious and well-furnished rooms.
When we checked in, the valet parking was chaotic. It took way too long for our car, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. We weren’t informed before arrival, and it opened the day after we left. The lighting in our room was also terrible, making it nearly impossible to read comfortably without heading to another floor.

The location of Rihga Royal Hotel is perfect, just steps from JR Kokura Station. I loved the easy access to many eateries and shops nearby. My room on the 18th floor had an incredible city view. it was stunning. The staff was incredibly polite and professional, always ready to assist. Breakfast was a highlight, offering both Japanese and western options, with a nice buffet style. However, the hotel feels a bit dated. The furnishing showed signs of wear and could use some updating. Also, I missed having English TV channels during my stay. Lastly, the gym and sauna opened too late for business travelers, which was inconvenient for me. It would be better if they could open them earlier to accommodate guests who need to start their day early.

The hotel was located right next to the bus stop which was a huge plus for traveling , made it super easy to catch our transport. Plus, the breakfast buffet was extensive , really good value for the money.
It wasn’t cheap , but for the amenities , it was still acceptable.
